International Parcel Service

• The service rate is net price, no additional fees and Value Added Tax (VAT).
• Tracked service, customer can check item status 24/7 via Track & Trace application on a smartphone or on the website: www.thailandpost.co.th.
• There are 2 alternative shipping modes ( Air,  Surface (Land/Sea)) 
• Insurance coverage can be added with a value not exceeding 1,000 SDR (approximately 40,000 THB).

Acceptance

• Prohibited items: regarding THP’s announcement are live animals, narcotics, obscene materials, explosives, banknotes, and sharp objects with no sealing.
• Item withdrawal: If a customer requests to withdraw the item, in case it has not yet been exported to the destination country, the customer must contact the Post Office counter where the item is lodged and withdrawal fees shall be applied.
• Delivery Rate Service:
  • By Air : The rate will be calculated from the actual weight of the item
  • By Surface : The rate will be calculated by using actual or volumetric weight whichever is higher in teams of weight will be charged for shipping. The formula for volumetric shipment is (Length x Width x Height) in centimeters, divided by 5,000. The specified service fee is per kilogram rate and the fraction of 1 kilogram shall be calculated as 1 kilogram.

Remark :

1. The delivery standard is excluded the posting date.
2. Alterations in the delivery period may occur depending on the customs formality process in the destination countries (if any).

Due to the fact that there is a change between Thai THB and Special Drawing Rights (SDR) set by the Bank of Thailand and that Thailand Post Co., Ltd. has adjusted the equivalent figures from 1 SDR equaling 43.2231 THB to 1 SDR equivalent 44.6870 THB, effective from January 1, 2022 onwards, Thailand Post necessitates to announce a change in the compensation rates for international services as follows:

Remarks

• In case of lost or totally damaged under postal custody, the sender shall be entitled to receive an indemnity, including the postage charges and special charges (if any).
• In case of partially lost or partially damage under postal custody, the sender shall be entitled to receive an indemnity, excluding the postage charges and special charges (if any).
• Indemnity shall be calculated according to the market price, of the lost or damaged of the same kind at the place and time at which the item was posted, but not exceed the maximum rate of indemnity of Thailand Post Announcement. Subject : Rate of indemnity of International Service
